InnovMetric Software Unveils Its New Logo
Completely revamped, this logo reflects quality and innovation.
InnovMetric Software Inc. officially unveiled today its new corporate logo. With the purpose of enhancing InnovMetric’s visual identity, this logo is designed to make InnovMetric easily identifiable by enabling instant recognition in the market.
The new look has dropped the cube motif and has lost the use of variant font styles (i.e., italics, bold, and uppercase/lowercase letters). The result is a typography that’s unique, and a logo that conveys InnovMetric’s values of quality and innovation.
The Design
The PolyWorks® logo has succeeded in gaining worldwide recognition. As a key player in the industrial 3D metrology market, InnovMetric also deserved its distinctive signature, a unique typography that characterizes the corporate entity.
"By creating a hybrid typography that does not use obvious uppercase/lowercase letters or any accents, we succeeded in designing a logo that’s adapted to the international scene," said Laurent Maheux, Art Director, PubliGriffe. With these changes, InnovMetric can now be fluidly read as a whole—regardless of the language in which it is spoken or written. Mr. Maheux went on to explain how the logo is balanced and blends in with the curve extending from the letter E, which symbolizes the energy created by a laser beam.
The choice of red as a background color represents the lively and innovative spirit of the company. With this logo, InnovMetric places itself as an emblem for the PolyWorks brand, as well as for future innovations.
New Logo Roll Out
The roll out of the new logo has begun, and the new look will gradually be noticeable on our website, at our tradeshow booths, on product boxes, on technical and support documentation, as well as on promotional materials.
