InnovMetric Software Expands International Distribution Network with Metronic S.A.
InnovMetric Software Inc. of Quebec City, Canada, and Metronic S.A. from Eibar, Spain announced today that they have entered into an agreement whereby Metronic S.A. will distribute InnovMetric’s PolyWorks®, the world-leading reverse-engineering and point cloud inspection software solution in Spain and Portugal. Under the terms of the contract, Metronic will market PolyWorks to the automotive, aeronautics, and manufacturing industries and offer first-class technical support to customers in this area.
Established in 1967, Metronic is a major Distributor of metrology and quality control equipment with a vast experience in die optimization, moldmaking, and automation technologies. “This distribution agreement with InnovMetric will enable us to offer our customers in the manufacturing community, including after market part suppliers, the best software solution on the market for their computerized inspection and quality control processes”, said Ander Inarrairaegui, General Manager at Metronic. “PolyWorks produces the most accurate polygonal models of scanned objects, making it the perfect complement to any 3D digitizer, for input to applications such as Computer-aided Manufacturing, Reverse-Engineering, and Quality Control through Automated Inspection.”
