InnovMetric Software is proud to announce that it has recently entered into an agreement with Steinbichler for the distribution of the PolyWorks® software suite bundled with Steinbichler’s COMET® and T-SCAN 3D digitizing systems. The agreement includes Europe and North-America, and enables Steinbichler to offer PolyWorks bundled licenses in geographic areas not already covered by existing Steinbichler/PolyWorks resellers.
The Steinbichler COMET 5 is a system based on white light fringe projection featuring a measuring time of < 1 second and camera resolutions of up to 11 megapixels. The T-SCAN is a hand-held laser scanner which allows measurement even on shiny objects, like sheet metal parts, without the need for surface preparation. PolyWorks is the market-leading point-cloud-engineering software solution used by automotive and aeronautic manufacturers worldwide. Steinbichler users can benefit from a free plug-in that integrates the Steinbichler T-SCAN scanner into PolyWorks for real-time scanning directly within the same PolyWorks user session.
“Our respective distribution channels have been working well together for many years,“ said Marc Boulanger, Director of Worldwide Sales at InnovMetric Software.“This agreement will further facilitate the acquisition of Steinbichler/PolyWorks bundled systems within the automotive and aeronautics user community," he continued.
“Both our organizations enjoy a solid customer base in the industrial manufacturing industry including automotive OEM manufacturers and their suppliers," said Pal Fugelli, Sales Channel Manager at Steinbichler. “This agreement represents an excellent opportunity for InnovMetric and Steinbichler to further increase their penetration into these strategic markets,“ he concluded.
