Voici le communiqué officiel :
InnovMetric Software Inc. of Quebec City, Canada, and Geodis Brno s.r.o. from Brno, Czech Republic announced today that they have entered into an agreement whereby Geodis Brno will distribute InnovMetric’s PolyWorks software solution to the surveying market in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. The combination of PolyWorks and Geodis Brno’s line of Riegl scanners offers the most complete and robust solution for accurate 3D modeling and measurements of large survey scenes. This revolutionary new approach will benefit the Czech and Slovak surveying community by significantly reducing the time and cost of data collection and data processing operations, such as: scan alignment, geo-referencing, measurements, feature extraction, and feature export.
Established in 1990, Geodis Brno is a geodetic-commercial company that provides services to the surveying community in the domain of photogrammetry and geodesy. Geodis Brno has been an exclusive distributor of TOPCON surveying, GPS, laser and control systems in Czech and Slovak Republic for the last 14 years. Geodis Brno has recently added the Riegl's 3D laser systems to its product line, from which it became the exclusive distributor as well.
"This distribution agreement with InnovMetric will enable us to offer our customers the best software solution on the market to get the most out of the very large data sets that our customers get when scanning vast scenes and large buildings", said Jan Sirotek, Sales & Technical Manager at Geodis Brno. "The capability of PolyWorks to combine data from different scanner brands enables our large customers to combine their actual digitizer with the powerful new Riegl 420 within the same project, and thus process different point cloud data with the same software suite."
“We are pleased and honored to partner with Geodis Brno”, said Marc Boulanger, InnovMetric’s Director of Worldwide Sales. “Geodis Brno is a very well established company with a solid reputation in surveying in both the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, where its dynamism and professionalism have earned it an excellent reputation. This agreement represents an excellent opportunity for InnovMetric to increase its penetration in surveying in this geographical market.”
