Outstanding Growth of PolyWorks® Sales over Last 24 Months
InnovMetric Software Inc. announces today that over the two-year period from April 1, 2004, to March 31, 2006, annualized sales of PolyWorks licenses and training services have jumped by 111%. The number of employees working for InnovMetric and its subsidiaries has also increased from 32 to 55 over the same period. While the Japanese and German markets continue to steadily deploy non-contact high-density measurement technology in their manufacturing processes, it is in North America that growth has been the most vigorous over the past two years.
“Since its inception, InnovMetric has focused its development efforts on solving challenging manufacturing problems, such as measuring GD&T and flush & gap, analyzing virtual assemblies, or enabling 100% automatic non-contact inspection”, said Marc Soucy, President of InnovMetric Software. “All these efforts are now starting to pay off. Today, when high-end manufacturing customers are investigating 3D digitizing solutions, they quickly find out that one solution stands above the others when the time comes to solve their engineering challenges. The tremendous growth of PolyWorks sales over the past 24 months is there to prove it,” he added.
“Working with InnovMetric Software has not only been enjoyable but it has assisted us in changing the direction of our company”, said Dean Solberg, Vice-President of Exact Metrology. “InnovMetric is a company committed to the success of their customers. They have responded to the needs of the market quickly and without hesitation. We have incorporated InnovMetric into our everyday operations by including them in our sales process. From customer support prior to sales and after the sale, we consider them an additional member of our staff.”
