InnovMetric Software wins the “Export Award” at the 2008 Les Mercuriades competition
The Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) honoured on April 9, 2008, 13 highly-successful Quebec businesses at the 28th edition of Les Mercuriades competition held at Montreal’s Palais des congrès. The event, organized by the FCCQ, had in attendance thousands of key individuals from Quebec’s business community and Quebec Premier Jean Charest.
Les Mercuriades is the most popular and prestigious competition designed to celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses which distinguish themselves by their entrepreneurship and excellence. The competition was created twenty eight years ago out of the desire to encourage and promote the glowing success of Quebec businesses here as well as abroad.
Thanks to outstanding sales worldwide in 2007, with over 95% of its revenue coming from the export market, InnovMetric won the Mercuriades Award in the "Export" Category. "This is a great achievement for our company", said Marc Soucy, President of InnovMetric Software Inc. "This award is the result of the strong commitment of our employees and the technical and human skills they bring to the company".
In addition to the 2008 Mercuriades Award, InnovMetric also won the “ADRIQ Export Award” in November 2006 and the “Fidéides Export Award” in March 2006.
